Scalable applications
This searchbox product line is intended for those which need to manage hundreds millions of documents and/or thousands of concurrent users. This version is based on the "computational node" concept so that a searchbox installation can be composed of more that one GRID configured servers or federated with a Peer-to-Peer protocol. In this way searchbox is able to virtually cope with any computational load level. Every GRID cluster is composed by one "Engine" license and by N "Node" licenses. The Engine license limits (max number of CPUs, max number of users, etc.) are automatically extended to all the other nodes of the same cluster. More "Engine" instances can be federated together using a Peer-to-Peer protocol as shown in figure.

searchbox 2 Additional CPU
This license let you have an additional CPU and one additional GB of RAM installed on a server with searchbox 2 Engine installed on. Such license is automatically extended to all other nodes of the same cluster.
searchbox 2 Node
With this license a new server can be added to an existing searchbox cluster. Such license must be linked to an existing Engine license from where it take all the features (i.e. if the searchbox engine license is for 4 CPUs every installed node can have up to 4 CPUs installed).
